The workshop commences with a 90 minute walk through Newstead Park and surrounding streets. You will photograph a variety of subjects to provide plenty of ammunition to hit the laptops running.
This is Bootcamp after all and you will have a lot to cover.
We'll commence with the upload process of your new images and methods to ensure safety and redundancy protection.
Once uploaded we'll get stuck into basic workflow processes and adjustments.
After lunch, (provided) you will work through your images adjuring and retouching as required.
We will also look at some of the newer features in Lightroom 4 such as localised white balance adjustments, geo-tagging, mapping and photo-book production.
The new raw processing protocols in LR4 will be looked at in depth as will the print module, a crucial part to your workflow.
You will learn the simplest ways to export your images for screen, web or print and, should you wish to add a watermark, you will learn this too.
It's a big day starting at 8:30am and finishing at 5:00pm. There will be plenty to learn so remember to bring a notebook.
